Bridger Migration

We're moving into a new platform, here's everything you need to know

Key dates

  • Friday, October 30 at 18:00 CET (Paris time): last chance to update or submit works, including drafts you want to keep
  • Monday, November 2 to Wednesday, November 4: the platform is offline while we move your account
  • Thursday, November 5: the new Bridger opens. Login steps and video tutorials arrive by email the same day

About the change

We are moving every Bridger account to a new platform. You will get a clearer view of your works and their status, an easier way to add splits and invite co-writers, and clearer artist profiles. Your works, splits, mandate, CISAC information and account balance move automatically.

When will the switch happen?

Edits will close on Friday, October 30 at 18:00 CET. The platform will be offline from Monday, November 2 to Wednesday, November 4. The new Bridger will open on Thursday, November 5.

What happens to the old platform?

You can use it as usual until Friday, October 30 at 18:00 CET. After that, edits are closed. From November 2 it goes offline, and on November 5 the new Bridger replaces it.

Before the switch

Do I need to do anything?

Only if you have draft  works in the "To be completed" status you want to keep that you have not updated in the last 4 months. Everything else moves automatically.

Which works will not be transferred?

"To be completed" works not updated in the last 4 months will not move to the new platform.

How do I transfer my draft works?

Updating old works must be done before Friday, October 30 at 18:00 CET:

  • Log in to Bridger and open your works.
  • Open the old draft you want to keep.
  • Click Save.

This only applies to "To be completed" works you have not updated in the last 4 months.

Can I still use Bridger this week?

Yes. Everything works as usual until Friday, October 30 at 18:00 CET.

Your account and money

Will my account and login stay the same?

Your account and everything in it moves to the new platform. We will email you your login steps on Thursday, November 5.

Will all my data be transferred?

Yes. Your works, splits, mandate, CISAC information and account balance all move. There are two exceptions:

Draft works not updated in the last 4 months

Your earnings history, which becomes a PDF you can download from your Wallet

Is my money safe?

Yes. Your account balance carries over to the Wallet on the new platform. Pending withdrawals stay in your earnings history.

Will I still see my earnings history?

Yes, as a PDF. The new Wallet does not show the transaction list from the old platform, but you can download your full earnings history as a PDF from your Wallet. Our video tutorials show you where to find it.

Does royalty collection stop during the move?

No. We keep collecting your royalties from collecting societies while the platform is offline.

Features and pricing

Are any features changing or disappearing?

New on the platform:

  • Clearer status names, so you can see where each work stands
  • An easier way to add splits and invite co-writers
  • Clearer artist profiles
  • Faster moderation times
  • No longer available:

The transaction list in your Wallet, replaced by a downloadable PDF of your full earnings history

Will pricing change?

No. Bridger stays free to join, with no registration or annual fees.

After the switch

How do I use the new platform?

On Thursday, November 5, we will email you login steps and short video tutorials of 1 to 2 minutes each explaining the platform. Make sure to keep an eye out on your email.

What should I do if something is missing after the migration?

Log in and check your works list and Wallet. If a work, split or balance looks wrong, email support@bridgermusic.io with the work title and its Spotify link, and our team will look into it.
